Punctuation marks for e-mail or URL spelling
Usually, we'll find people sharing websites URL's or emails accounts, in those cases, we must write the signs by their names, let's see how:
- Dot (.)
- At (@)
- Slash (/)
- Hyphen, Dash (-)
- Colon (:)
- Underscore (_)
- Backslash (\)
If the person says: "You can submit that information through www.united.com/refund", we must transcribe:
- You can submit that information through W W W dot United dot com slash refund.
If the person gives an email address, for example: "The support email is email@example.com", we must transcribe:
- The support email is live underscore support at Yahoo dot com dot M X.
Remember: Companies' names always start with a capital letter.
