How do you get the contribution?

*In this article we will base ourselves on examples, it is requested not to take them literally.

To begin with, it is important to understand that contribution values are per contributor and not per task. If the same task is assigned to Mary, Peter, and John, the three will have a range of 0 to 100 percent contribution on that task.

Let’s take an example:

The same task is assigned to Mary, Peter and John; on audio, you can hear:

"I’m going to buy candy at the corner store".

Mary starts from scratch and transcribes the entire audio.

[00:00:01] I’m going to buy candy at the corner store.

Then that same task is assigned to Peter who erases everything and places "inaudible"

[00:00:01] [INAUDIBLE 00:00:01].

Now it is John’s turn to work on the task that Peter has done. John erases the "inaudible" that did not correspond and does the transcription with what he hears in the audio:

[00:00:01] I’m going to buy candy at the corner store.

Both Mary and John have contributed 100% of the task.
